We're meeting at 11 am with one of the Chef instructors at Aisa's school of choice today. She's going for a 5-yr degree in Culinary Arts. Please pray that everything goes well and that she's allowed to attend in the fall. We thought we were not going to be back here until December and she wouldn't start college 'til Feb '10, and so now we're kind of hurrying up the process so she can enrol for September instead.

Thank you very much your prayers -- the meeting went REALLY well. She will be able to start in September. All they need from me now is a notarized letter, her entrance exam and we're good to go.
By all means, please come over and share in her "homework" -- we would love to have all of you!! 
Heee.... the meeting went well but inside I was going ACK!!! Okay it wasn't just inside, I actually said something that made her go "Oh Mother". I sheltered my baby for all these years... and now I'm releasing her into a..... ZOO???
'Cause seriously, that's what college looked like to me today. Waaah. I half-jokingly asked her if perhaps she'd just like to be homeschooled for college. She and dh just laughed me off. I would in a heartbeat if she wanted me to.  Sigh...

My 9yod has already said she wants me to homeschool her thru college .... maybe even grad school ...  ! I'm thinking, having just gotten thru a teenage daughter who is happily going off to Ave Maria in the Fall, I'll just keep smiling (and hoping) and let her decide when she's a bit older!

Congratulations to Aisa! You know we've been praying, stef...tell Aisa that we're ready to receive any and all food care packages - especially rum balls .
Devin was looking into getting a culinary certificate during the summer in between her journalism studies...but now she thinks she'll need to wait until after she gets her degree...God bless all foodies!
