I am searching for Montessori style world landmarks flash cards. I am planning on putting them in their workboxes. Does anybody know where I could find them?
I thought about making them myself, but it's too much work. I'd rather buying them.
Thanks,
Simona

I think Montessori Services has some - I'm not sure on prices - I know you can get laminated and unlaminated and that the unlaminated ones come on regular thickness paper, making home laminating a really good idea or just ordering the laminated ones (depends on the price...).
I know I've seen sets for each continent, as well as a holy places set (not Christian, specifically, but includes others...)

Just throwing a few links your way to look through....
Montessor For Everyone - Lori specializes in 3 part cards! I must own over 80% of her store and have never been disappointed. Don't forget to check out her generous section of free downloads!
Montessori Services - a quick search didn't yield anything, but it would be worthwhile poking around. They carry materials from In-Print for Children
Montessori Materials - all these downloads are free.
Hope there is something here to help you, Simona!

My Target has some in their $1 section. It's hit or miss. I bought them last year there and saw a couple yesterday. (Not as plentiful as last year, but keep an eye out because they I'm sure they will start to put out their back to school stuff). We also got the Presidents flashcards there too and a few others.

I was going to mention Target...they had a wide variety of flashcards and little workbooks in the $1 section about two weeks ago. We bought the landmarks and the U.S. presidents.

These were so popular here that they started a fight in the back seat of the van!

I have to say that I was very impressed with the $1 Target flashcards I found of the landmarks and presidents. I decided to buy two of each for games.
Question: How would you use the Target flashcards for Montessori purposes? Can somebody briefly explain the 3 part method?

Theresa the cards on AMAZON look great. I'll definately order them if I don't find the $1.00 ones at Target. I had started making my own on the computer, but I think they would have cost a little fortune with the printing and laminating.
Thankyou!
Simona
