A family in our parish lost their husband/father and son/brother in a plane crash Friday in Arkansas. Another young man died from his injuries at the hospital. Another father and son survived, but the son is still hospitalized. The boys were all high school friends and they were returning from a fishing trip. The two from our parish are survived by a wife/mother and 3 daughters/sisters. Please pray for all involved. This is heartbreaking. Good families, good boys.
ETA: The young man who died at the hospital was the second child this family has lost. Please pray for this poor mother.

A second child? My goodness, some people are asked to carry such heavy crosses. I'll be praying that great good will be drawn from this pain and suffering they are experiencing.
