Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I read the threads here and here on restless legs and am going to be taking this info to my next OB appointment. I had restless legs for the first time in the third trimester of my last pg and this time it seems to be starting earlier.

It is a small complaint, but I'm looking for a remedy because it makes me less able to sit still with the kids, to hold them (especially my 2yo who doesn't "need" me but "wants" me to hold him a lot) and in spending time in the evening relaxing with my dh because the only relief I find is in stretching - jumping - walking around (as a few of you mentioned in those earlier threads) and it makes me feel like I need a lot more personal space, which is hard on everyone in my family.

I don't have immediate access to the books that were mentioned but am looking for links to some of the websites you've found helpful (rather than reinventing the wheel, here). Any more/new insights from those of you who have found relief since those threads were posted would also be helpful. Thanks!

In the first thread Glenn's doctor had recommended calcium and potassium, which is the advice I got last pg. It didn't work for her - and hadn't worked well for me, either.

Servant2theKing had provided the most information in the 2nd thread that I linked, taken from books and websites. She wrote: "Iron deficiency seems to be a big factor w/ rls, along with deficiencies with B12, magnesium and folic acid." and also recommended light exercise a few hours before bed.

I was thinking it was the magnesium that a friend used that helped her
