Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone seen or used or heard about All Through the Ages? It's a compilation of booklists (including among others Bethlehem, Honey for a Child's Heart, and Sonlight) organized by age/reading level and by historical period or geographical region. I'm intrigued, but would love to hear from someone in the know.

Here's a link to the "about" page: All Through the Ages

I own the book! I borrowed it several times from the library and finally bought my own copy.

Lists are organized by chronological history, geographical history, history of science and mathematics, history of the visual arts and music, and great books of western civilization.

From the introduction...."I have really tried to include what Charlotte Mason would call 'living books,' and have tried to avoid twaddle wherever possible."

She's got each list split by resources for all ages, than grade levels (1-3,4-6,7-9,10-12). There are times when the individual grades levels are split further, into an overview, specific events, historical fiction, literature, biography, and culture. She is not Catholic, but there are many good Catholic books listed, and many good Saint books listed.

I use this ALL. THE. TIME.
