What do I do with a chick who must have fallen from his nest? He is not that young, has fluffy feathers, but doesn't have any interest in flying, only hops. He doesn't seem interested in the birdseed on the ground. I'm sure his parents will probably leave him to die now. Can I help him?
ETA: I think it's a thrush.

Is there a nest you know of? Can you look around the area for one? If you can find one it is best to put it back in. Also, there is a good chance that a parent is already around and keeping an eye on it - but you wouldn't necessarily know that as she would be keeping a low profile. You'd have to try to observe from some place unseen and see if any bird is tending to it.

Yes, I know exactly where the nest is, but I worry that if I touch him they won't have anything to do with him. Then if I mess with the nest they will completely abandon it.

I included the threads as they discuss just that issue and have links to sites regarding that - it's a myth about birds. They won't abandon babies that have been touched.

We just had this problem, and I contacted the Wildlife Center in Waynesboro, VA. They have information at the bottom of this page on what to do if you find a wild bird chick out of its nest. Basically, the first step is to do nothing to the bird and protect it from pets and children. You could have your children watch from a distance and see if they can observe the parents coming back to feed it. The Wildlife Center of Virginia is a great resource. If you find a wild injured animal (of the larger kind), they will come and get it and care for it until it can be released into the wild. Info on care for smaller animals is on the site I linked to. Our baby birds were goldfinches, and the mother had been killed by a cat. We ended up taking them to the Wildlife Center, where I presume they were put in the care of a songbird rehabilitator.
