What order and when? Is 6th grade to early?
Any preferences?? And is there a study guide for these somewhere?

Looking on the back of the book, I think Prove It God is the first one Amy Welborn wrote. I'm having my rising sixth grader read it. I read the first chapter ahead of him today, just ahead of him, and it read like she was talking to a high schooler. I read Prove It Church a few years ago and that did not read a high schoolerish. I guess I just need to read it all the way through and look for discussion questions while I read it.
Mary, if I find anymore out, I'll let you know. I just don't want to have to re-invent the wheel.

I would agree that they are written towards high schoolers, as they are meant to be used at that age when teens are typically questioning their beliefs. We have 2 of them (can't recall immediately which ones) and I used them with ds when he was about 14 I think.

I don't know anything about the order or study guides, but my ds read Prove It: Jesus in 7th/8th grade and he enjoyed it very much. The parts I read of it were excellent and I would recommend it for upper middle school or lower high school. I think it is one of those books you can read at several levels, getting different things out of it at each reading. I intend on getting the rest of them for him.

My dd read Prove it God when she was in 7th grade and I think it was a little over her head. Then she read Prove it Jesus and found it easier and got more out of it. We read Prove it Church as a read aloud because I wanted to discuss some things with my kids since we are surrounded by Protestants.
In general she has liked the books but she finds the tone that they are written silly and a little annoying (her words not mine).

My dd, rising 9th grader, read them all (I think we have all of them  ) and loved them. I bought just 2 at first and then she begged for the rest.

I had my dd read them all this year as part of her Confirmation prep. She enjoyed them. I found the tone geared a bit more towards kids in school, though, but that is not necessarily problematic.

I read them myself and thought they were very well done.
I haven't used them with my kids yet, but they are recommended for grades 6 and 7 on Mater Amabilis.

I asked 17yo dd and she said, "...7th, 8th grade to start. The style is conversational and informal which is OK. The charm of it (the style) started wearing off for me as I kept reading. I can tolerate most styles, though, as long as the content is good, which it is."
