For those of you with a Ford 15 passenger van. How is your a/c? Ours is great while we are driving along but as soon as we stop at a long red light or if it sits in park for a while the a/c is non effective. It has always been this way. I have always thought it was just the way these vans are made. But now I am starting to wonder. I would be thrilled if it is fixable.

We have a Ford Club Wagon '98 and the A/C runs when we come to a stop or if I'm sitting idling in the van. I would have it checked out, I couldn't tell you what's wrong, but that doesn't sound right.

Our Chevy did that. I don't know if it's related, but we also have had to get the AC fixed once a year for the past 4 years. This week we sent it in for the yearly fix and ended up with a new radiator among other things. It's 60 out so I haven't tested the AC yet. Come to think of it my husband's Honda did that too before we had the AC fixed.

we have a Ford E350 15 pass. and the a/c is great so yeah.. it's something to get checked out.

We have a Ford 15 pass van, too...Our AC blows cold while idling pretty well considering we live in Texas!. I'd have yours checked out...
