Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just wanted to say how happy we are with these new pencils - they are a perfect step away from wax crayons for our 2 year old. They are very thick with soft, intense colour which is a sort of cross between a wax crayon and a pencil and is also watercolourable. They write on anything almost, and make such beautiful vivid artwork. I bought a box of 10 for £10, so they are not cheap and I did hesitate for a long while over the purchase, but having done so I would replace them again when they are all used up.

Lucy,

Are these the ones .... Stabilo Woody a set of 18 of $55 but they do look nice (maybe Santa can bring them?) ...

Does anyone know how they compare to Lyra's Aquacolor (which are less expensive)?

Yes Mary. I can't think in dollars - so that looks really expensive. I thought they were well worth the price I paid and they are just delicious to use.

Lucy, at the current conversion rate, that would be 10 pencils for about $15.00. I think the price in the States is a bit more. Where are the pencils made?

They sell this brand at Dick Blick. Might be less expensive to get it from there.
