Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use this? I was looking at a friend's copy the other day and it is very straightforward and simple. It relies heavily on Landmark books and lists basic points of knowledge to be covered for each era.

I don't think I have ever seen it mentioned here.

I have it and plan on using it combined with Beyond the Pilgrims from RC History. I've been using it as a springboard to develop our multi-level plans for American History.

Beyond the Pilgrims aligns readings from Our Pioneers and Patriots and Christ and the Americas with the units in the Artner guide. It also provides a timeline of saints, significant Catholic figures in American History, and important events for each unit as well as suggestions for saint biographies, etc.

Many Landmark titles seem to go in and out of print. Some of them are online in audio format at The Reading Well.

The guide also relies on the student gathering background information from Everything You Need to Know About American History Homework and some of the Core Knowledge series books. Both the "...Homework" book and the CK series can easily be bought used or located at the local library.
