Update: the plan is to do an angiogram around 10 today and then probably an angioplasty unless the blockage is worse than expected. He's at UVa hospital. Thanks for your prayers.

I'm backtracking today. Just heard about your dad Elizabeth. We'll add his health and spirit to our family Rosary prayers.

Praying, Elizabeth.
My father had this same thing happen some 10+ years ago. He retired as the city Postmaster and everyone knows how stressful a postal job is , especially when one is in charge.
He just ran through a series of tests and is in great shape, despite a slight blockage which he has taken medicine for all these years.
I pray that all will be fine.

I talked to him this morning and he was in good spirits. He had his first angioplasty about 17 years ago, when he was 48. Then he had one 6 years ago. Technology has changed even since then and he's been watched very, very carefully. I can't imagine there will be any big surprises, though the episode yesterday was certainly not expected...

You have a young dad. Mine too. He's 64. I am glad he is feeling better. It must have been scary. I'll continue to pray.

Things look good ! They didn't even have to do a new angioplasty. They're keeping him for awhile, just to be sure that his rhythmn is ok but they don't hitnk he had a heart attack and his arteries look clear.
And since we're praising God: fifteen years ago today, I finished cancer treatment in complete remission. Fifteen years is a long time!

Now that is an anniversary worth celebrating. Fifteen years is forever in terms of remission. Thanks be to God! I think you deserve a little champagne!!
