I know this sounds silly but I need some very special prayers. I need a root canal and to make a very long story short it is going to cost between 1200 and 1500. I have to go to this particular dentist.
Of course when I told my mom about it she starts in on the fact that we never have money and we are always in debt and if I put the kids in school and went to work this would not be a problem. I need to be lifted up in prayer. I am so very overwhelmed by it all and the financial aspect is just neverending. I know that this is my cross to bear. My children are all healthy and I have always been able to stay home with them but oh my it never ends

It's not a silly prayer request at all! St. Apollonia is the patron saint of dental woes, and I've been seeking her recourse on behalf of Anne (Aussieannie). I'll ask her to intercede powerfully for you at this time, that the financial means to meet this need will be generously supplied as well as for your peace.
Don't let the conversation with your mom upset you...these conversations always present themselves when we're dropping to our knees. They are a distraction for us, and I think sometimes work to prevent our being open to God's graces and focused on His will because we're distracted by something tangential. You are a good and generous mama and your sacrifices will not go unrewarded!

You can do it Mimi! With all this prayer support and your strong faith, He WILL come through for you!! Use it to offer up something really important to you. Think of it this way, that's gotta be at least 2 hours where you can put your feet up! Bring your rosary or I-Pod or just settle in for a nice long nap
