At one time we had a high school level text by this author with the same title. I picked it up used and it was good, but we went with other books. I just checked the samples at Timberdoodle and the textbook we used to have had the same writing style. Maybe you can find one on ebay--same title I believe or maybe it was just Integrated Science.
