This is dd's birthday. She requested spagehetti, salad and garlic bread, so that, of course!, is what we will have tonight. Plus the cake!

In honor of our Lady, we are having Carne Vinho de Alhos (thanks to Marilyn's recommendation). I will probably serve rice (maybe roasted potatoes), some sort of sauteed veggies, and freshly baked bread.

Leftovers from FHC party: Stuffed shells, Lasagna with sausage and beef, spaghetti with meat sauce,I think I'll add a salad for those few who will eat it.

Very cool, Cay!
Wish I had planned ahead for that - it's a favorite of my husband's Portuguese family as well. Since it is best if marinated for at least a couple days (and boy does the house smell like garlic ) we don't have enough time.
We are having grilled chicken, salad, and creamy fettucine with thyme and asiago (which Ill be writing a post about for one of the herbs of our lady dishes on Catholic Cuisine).

We are stuck with drive-through food...I try so hard to avoid this, but a last-minute and much needed dance practice popped up during the dinner hour.

I'm making buffalo chili (made with bison meat, and spicy!) and homemade sweet corn bread. My beloved is returning home from a long camping trip with his college guys and I'm anticipating that he'll need a good meal - it's his favorite!

We had soccer today, so it is "homemade" pizza using Trader Joe's pre-made pizza dough!
Why does pizza make everyone so happy???

Quick change in plans due to me getting involved in a total wipeout/cleanout of the school baskets/cabinet/boxes this afternoon.
Let's not mention the fact that we got a full-day of school in. I do like days spent at home.
Whew! but I am tired.
Dh set eggs to boil on the stove, took kids swimming at the aquatic center, and told me to go take a nap.
We'll be having chicken salad sandwiches tonight.
