I am going away this weekend to attend the ARCH conference in Houston. My son is quite anxious. He's already cried twice (and is crying again). His behaviour is off today and I know it's because I'm messing up his routine. Please pray that he can make it through this weekend as calmly as possible. And, for my dear hubby who is watching all 4.

Praying that you have a good time! Don't worry about Ben, the more you worry, the more he will. Our ASD kids are great emotion barometers - my son will often pick up when I'm worried/stressed even when I think I'm hiding it well.

The conference was great and my son did wonderfully after a tearful good bye. I know that it was everyone's prayers that helped tremendously. My husband survived as well.
