Can anyone share a good, tried and true Sloppy Joe recipe? I have a ton of frozen burger that needs to be used up and I thought I'd try Sloppy Joe's.
Thanks!

I have a great one from Pillsbury:http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=12000
We had it last night, in fact. I double it and leave out the green peppers. My kids love it!
My favorite part of the recipe is the directions where they tell you to mix in remaining ingredients except the buns. That always gives me a chuckle!

My ds (14) just made sloppy joes for lunch today.
Brown ground beef and onions (we used approximately #1 and 1/2 an onion)
Drain on paper towels then return to pan
Add 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
1 can tomato sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 TBS vinegar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash of ground cloves
(and it called for a dash of allspice, but we didn't have any so we left it out)
We also added a bit of water, maybe 1/4 cup
Cook together for a few minutes until sauce thickens up.
Yummy!
It would be good with the addition of some green peppers sauteed with the meat and onions.

I just made these Sloppy Joe's last Tuesday night for dinner and I teamed them with these sweet potato biscuits. It was super yummy!

Easiest recipe for sloppy joes, hands down, is 1 pound hamburger seasoned with: salt, pepper, chopped onions, maybe some garlic (as you like) mixed with a can of Campbells Tomato Soup...YUM!

Mine is easy too...almost too easy I think.
For every pound of burger meat, you add 1Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1Tbsp mustard, 1 C of ketchup.
After you've browned the meat, you add the ingredients and then heat and serve.

I use a poor man's recipe, but we love it. I brown the meat and then add ketchup and some brown sugar.
