While we have so many baby prayers going, I'd love to add myself to the prayer lists. I'm 36 weeks 2days and have been having lots of contractions and accompanying pain. I'm on heavily restricted activity because we are worried about rupture (this will be my 7th c/s). My conditions for going to the hospital are so arbitrary now, and left largely to my own intuition, and that's totally not my thing. Please pray that I don't rupture and that baby stays tucked in long enough to be healthy, nurse well and come home with me. My earliest was 37 weeks, which is next Tuesday, so I know I won't rest easy at least until then. My scheduled date is May 14th, but I can't imagine making it that long.
Thank you so much for any prayers you can send our way!!
UPDATE 4/25 10am: I went in last night after 3 hours of contractions growing steadily closer, eventually to 5 minutes apart. However, the contractions slowed significantly once I was hooked up to the monitor and they sent me home after some time. I know that's a good thing, but I can't help being a little disappointed this morning. But, I'm thankful that our little one has some more time. The nurse says there's no way I can make it to my scheduled date, but I need to try to make it at least until Tuesday (I'll be 37 weeks then). So, I'll be in bed drinking lots of water for the next 4 days at least! Thank you all so much for your prayers! Please keep them coming!
(Elizabeth--for some reason my regular email is not working! Sorry I couldn't update sooner!)

Dear Molly- I am praying for you my friend. Lie down and rest as much as you can (I know it is hard with the nesting instinct in full force. I know how hard it is trying to decide when to go in to the hospital - I will pray for you for guidance. My general rule is - better safe though even if you have to come home again.
Just another thought - I have had 36 weekers who are full term and have had no problems.
Let me know if I can help you. I will pm you my telephone number

My two were almost 37 and the other 36 weeks and a few days. They both did fine. Do get off your feet completely. The rupture thing is a big concern, so I'll be praying for you. I'm so excited that you've come this far!

Molly, I'm glad to be able to pray for you. My due date was May 17th. I never realized we were due so close together. I completely understand your anxieties. Do you know what you're having?

Molly,
Your post took me quite by surprise. Did I forget you were expecting again...or did I not know. Honestly, I don't know.
But it's so exciting.
Prayers have been offered and will continue until your baby is safely in your arms. As all the old Cajuns say "Take care, ya hear."

Prayers, sweet Molly. You know I am following right behind you by just two weeks with the same risk factors. I've been saying the prayer for a safe delivery from my Mother's Manual each day. I will remember you and baby when I do.

Thank you all so much! I truly do appreciate every prayer--small one-time or ongoing. We do know that we are having a baby girl (or a very big surprise ). Following you the last few weeks, Martha, and seeing your joyous news gives me hope. And Jenn, it is so encouraging to hear of your healthy early deliveries. I realize this isn't overly early, but it's early enough to bring on the nerves. Thank you all again for all of your support and encouragement.

Dear Molly,
If it's any encouragement at all to you, I kept hearing over and over again that baby girls who come early seem to do better than boys. For whatever reason, girls tend to be heartier at an earlier gestational age. Also, Brayden is surprising everyone by how well he is eating and keep his temp up. This morning, his pediatrician acted confidant that he could likely go home with me tomorrow. You're in the home stretch. Hang in there!!
