I'm going down to Boston today (MIL is bringing me and we have to take all the kids as well--pray they can behave!), and I'm going to be asking again when they can discharge Regina.
Over the weekend she was having some blood in her stools, and they think it's a milk allergy so she's off of my milk and using some kind of formula--maybe progestemil? Her blood pressure was slightly high so they are doing an u/s on her kidneys...she got the last blood test done this morning as well.
It seems the longer she's there the more they end up messing with her. I tend to wonder if the blood pressure being higher isn't just from being poked at so much--Sat. when we were there the nurse was trying to get some blood from her and had to poke her 4 different times before she was successful. Poor baby screamed her head off for half an hour. 
On the positive side, over the weekend, she had a couple feedings where she took a whole ounce. That's the most she's ever eaten! It gives me hope that I'll be able to get her eating whole bottles soon and maybe get rid of the feeding tube.
I just can't help but think she'd be doing a lot better if she were home...I'll stop eating dairy, or put her on that other formula...whatever. Please pray that they will give me a date for her discharge and that it's very soon.

Emily, we pray for you, Regina and your entire family everyday. I can only imagine the exhaustion and stress that you are dealing with, I pray that your sweet little girl is home with you all very soon!

Oh Emily,
I'm praying that your sweet little baby can come home with you soon. I also think that the more they are poked and messed with the more stress it causes them. I pray she becomes strong and healthy quickly. What great news that she is eating more!!!
