Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Today when Angry Chicken posted a link to this Etsy store I was just captivated by her little gnomes! I was thinking about purchasing some for my soon to be 5 year old, but I was wondering how difficult they would be to make myself. Has anyone done this? I don't know if I could find real wool felt around without ordering it online and that is pushing it time wise. Are the materials expensive or hard to find?
I guess I'm just trying to determine if I should try making them myself (even though I'm not super crafty) or just buy them!

Oh, yes, Elizabeth's tutorial was excellent! And easy! I have two sets of gnomes, and my kids love them.

Really - they were very, very easy to do!

Are the gnomes in this tutorial the small or large "wooden folk"? I can't tell from the description.

Thanks for the link Elizabeth! I'm very excited about it!
