Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do you remember watching Born Free when you were younger? We watched it last night and the kids really enjoyed it! It's a great movie that covers animal science, domesticated vs wild animals, African topography and geography, as well as just generally a great story. The movie is based on the true adventures of Joy Adamson and her husband living in Africa -- I can remember reading the trilogy when I was younger and we're off to the library to find it today.

Of course, now I have the theme song stuck in my head today ... winning best song in '67!

Just reading your post put the song in my head

We got it from Netflix a couple of months ago, and my boys really did enjoy it! It was very nostalgic for me as well.
