Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

You know those awful mustard colored baby poop stains, that nothing seems to work on?

I have recently remembered a remedy for the problem that my aunt told me about years ago when my much younger brothers were babies. Of course I remebered this only after having battled these stains with our last little guy, who had an amazing knack for explosive diapers.

The remedy is Dial brand hand soap, the Gold kind. I have tried other brands that are knock-offs, and found only the dial brand works. And I've also tried the clear kind, and found the Dial Gold to work the absolute best. The clothing has to be wet, and then you rub it in like any other stain remover. It even worked on an outfit that was forgotten a couple days this week, worked like a charm! And another nice thing, when you consider the price it ends up much cheaper than ordinary stain removers, it takes much less than your typical spray stain removers, and you use less because it only takes one time of washing!

Hope this helps! I was really happy to rediscover this helpful remedy to a frustrating problem.

A little footnote to Pilgrim's post...she keeps hers in an empty condiment bottle...the small spout makes it easy to dispense just a small stream on the stained area. I can truly attest to the wonders of this laundry tip as I have witnessed it in action! Ladies, it's so exciting when your grown children surpass you in their housekeeping (or other)skills! Pilgrim is so much better at stain removal and laundry than her mother could ever dream of being! ;)
