Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what could be causing these. For the past few days my 17yo daughter has had shooting pains in her left leg. Now she fell off her bike a week ago and damaged her right leg(really bad graze) but no injury at the time to the left.Wondering if it could be related. She says she doesn't have to be doing anything for them to happen,standing or sitting,resting or not she still gets them.

Alison, that doesn't sound nice at all..I tend to think that it is probably related. Sounds like sciatic pain. Do you have a good chiropractor around your area? She might need an adjustment..

Maybe some T-Tappers can add something..isn't there a simple movement in her introduction dvd that stops that sort of pain?

Alison, the fall you described might warrant having an x-ray done of her left leg. A friend in high school fell and had similar recurring pain. Awhile after her original fall one of her older brothers, who was a doctor, while visiting her family, determined that she had a hairline fracture, which had been overlooked at the time of her original injury. If an x-ray reveals no trace of a hairline fracture, is it possible she's putting strain on the muscles in her left leg by compensating for the injured right leg?
