Tonight I think I am going to take the easy way out and order cheese pizza for dinner. Dh is going to be visiting his family and we have a lot of running around to do. Our other option is to check out the dinner at the parish dd has Challenge, I'll have to see how that works for the carpool.
I'd like to make some pretzels today, last week we just bought some frozen ones and baked them up. I have the Alton Brown recipe printed, just not sure if we'll get to them.

Dinner is stuffed shells with ricotta and spinach covered in marinara sauce, homemade cloverleaf rolls (I'm experimenting today in anticipation of St. Patrick's day), and a big green salad.
Lunch will probably be tuna salad.
Teatime will be homemade pretzels and earl grey tea...'cause it's so grey outside and earl grey seems to fit with Lent so well! We're reading "Five Precious Diamonds" for Teatime today (from Angel Food for Boys and Girls, book 4) because it is such a beautiful story of Our Lord's five precious wounds and His great love for us!

I was thinking potato and something frittata, salad and toast, but we have swim team from 4:30 to 6:30 and my son is serving stations at 7 so I think we're going to end up eating PB&J early and getting shrimp fried rice later. What an evening.

We're going to the best Fish Fry in the country. It's at our former parish and it is really amazing. They even have Frog Legs, although I still am not sure that doesn't count as meat, and I don't eat them. They do get rave reviews. There's also peel-and-eat shrimp. Not much of a sacrifice is it?

My husband and I had shrimp burritos and corn chips with salsa con queso.
The boys had fish sticks, grapes and strawberries. Well, the older one did. The baby still refuses to eat. :(
