What's on the menu for tonight?
Pete got called out of town unexpectedly last night, so we're doing a no-daddy-easy-kid-meal for dinner.
Cheese and Ham Quesadillas with frozen peas.....and I DO mean "frozen"
B-fast: yogurt w/granola on top and leftover muffins
Lunch: PB&J. Leftovers for me.

What? No one's cooking today?
I just got home from a lunch date w/ my dh.
I had no plans for supper so he requested a turkey loaf and mash potatoes.
Works for me.

Tonight is what my Granny would call "COTIBS" - Clean Out The Ice Box. I have one serving of something here and there and I need to make some room...so we're getting creative with leftovers here.
Sorry...pretty anti-climactic and un-inspiring, I know!

Leftover steak and mashed potatoes. I accidentally thawed two meals' worth of steak last night.

We are going to have either greek chicken or soft beef tacos tonight. I so have to do some grocery shopping. I'll make which ever needs less ingredients picked up at the store. Hopefully tonight I'll have a chance to really sit down and plan out some menus. Jenn I've been working on my thoughts about menu planning.
We took the kids down to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg for two nights, this was in place of the trip to Hawaii we had hoped to take when dh came home from Kuwait......there was lots of water and a boogie board ride....the palm trees left someting to be desired though. I had hoped to have some time to really work on menus and a good shopping list but I was having to much fun on the water slides.
OK so that was probably way more info about me than anyone cares to know. Just in case you all are hanging on the edge of your seats waiting to hear what we ate tonight.......I'll be back to post an undate

no clue.. but I picked up the corned beef, cabbage plus extra potatoes, carrots and onions at the store today for Tuesday
I think we'll go mexican.. several of the leftovers I have will work for that.. taco meat.. leftover pork roast that I could chop and season like carnitas beans..
probably taco/tostadas.

I hope you had a blast, MC! I didn't like starting your meal threads. My meals are a bit, shall we say, blasé?
Drat, I missed you, Maryan. I went to our first Soup Kitchen last week, but because I don't know the ingredients, it will probably be the only one. Wish you came last week!
