We are about to have our basement professionally finished . We've never undertaken a project of this magnitude and it is giving me great anxiety. The last time I had this much anxiety was after Baby #4 and I ended up needing to be medicated for several months. Please pray that we all bear with the noise, dirt, dust, strange people in the house, the loss of storage/play place, etc. in the next 6-8 weeks. I know we will be so much happier when it is done, but getting there may be too much for us, especially me. I will need more patience than I have ever had.

We are going through this right now. My husband has been finishing our basement by himself and it's been a lot of work and stress and dirt and noise and dust. I will certainly keep you in my prayers.

We are doing the same thing, only to our kitchen. That is, IF we can afford it! Actually, everything in our kitchen is starting to break down. We have no more microwave use, two burners on our tiny stove that work. Our oven is iffy. And our dishwasher is squirrely.
