How do you get the 'shared items' column in the sidebar to your recommended blog reading posts? It is such a great idea, but I can't work out how you get it up there.

I just worked this out I have a sneaking suspicion you read your blogs in bloglines, am I correct? If so I couldn't work it out how to do it there and gave up on bloglines. I have just changed to google reader and it is easy.

So to the best of my knowledge you are going to have to change over to google reader, log in; click on 'Shared Items' then on the middle right there is a link that says 'Add a clip to your website or blog'. Click on that and it will open a new screen that lets you customize your widgit and then give you the HTML code.

After you have it installed the HTML code on your blog all you have to do each time you are reading posts is click the share button below each post and it automatically updates on the blog.

You can also link Google Reader to your Facebook page so that your shared items post there, too!
