I have a couple of nursing tops that have buttons that won't stay buttoned. The buttonholes are too big. Being a bit challenged in all things sewing related, I am not quite sure what I can do to remedy this. I hate not being able to wear these tops because I can't risk being "exposed"!

just a stitch or two of handsewing would fix them.

match the thread.. come up from underneath, go across the end of the buttonhole but into the opening so you're making it smaller.. do 2-3 stitches and tie it off underneath.

oh and go on the bottom or outside of the buttonhole.. the button will likely hide anythingyou've done that way.
