Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Are you doing anything special tomorrow? I love hearing/seeing your ideas and would also like to know of a place where I could read St. Valentine's story to the children.
Thanks!

Monday was co-op day. Annie's group made Valentine bags and exchanged Valentine's. They got read some Valentine stories as well. I've been hearing about Cupid all week and there's lot of imaginary games evolving around Cupid as well.

Wednesday we read and discussed the St. Valentine book by Robert Sabuda.

Thursday was spent with our Keepers of the Home group doing a Valentine Sweetness.

Tomorrow I plan to decorate the sitting room table and put their Valentines at their seat. We'll also make our mosaic Valentines to present to their godmothers and cousins. Then they have a cousin's Valentine bday party to go to at the park.

Needless to say, I have planned no baking activities in my kitchen. Last weekend Kayleigh baked a honeybun cake and brownies. A friend sent us a red velvet/cream cheese cake. Then we had the baking madness yesterday.

We're a tad "feted" out.
