A beautiful couple, married over 20 years, is facing a big crisis today, Wednesday, Feb. 11. The wife has been facing physical problems for some time and has been showing signs of mental instability - not acting like herself - making very poor decisions - refusing care. Today she really hurt her husband and this must feel like the last straw for him. Hope is slim and all involved, like extended family and friends, are very confused and worried. Please, please, please, pray that a third party can be brought into the situation, especially her physician and/or pastor, and that they can get the help that they need.

I asked the dh if I could place this request on the board. He said, "Absolutely. Bring on the varsity team." That's a compliment and yes, we know this family through sports:). He also said, "Thank you."

I may not have an update for awhile but will bump this to keep prayers going. This may be a long one.
