The woman in this post has
just delivered a healthy baby girl!
Little Gianna Elliot was just born and weighs 5 lbs. 12 oz. Although they were expecting excessive bleeding with the problematic placenta this did not occur; and no hysterectomy was needed, which was also something they thought might have to happen.
Thanks be to God for bringing this child into the world safely and to all of you for praying for baby and mom!

Jenn: The baby was 1 day short of 36 weeks, I believe and I don't know about the NICU - just that everything is going well. (Mom has been in the hospital since very early January.)

Just a little more info...
The baby's full name is Gianna Marie Immaculata (in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes - her birthdate). The baby is doing well and requires no special attention as a preemie.
