Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm off on a new foray with my 9-yob reading our Christian Liberty Nature Readers at his own pace (meaning a chapter + answering the questions per day) and augmenting that with Jack's Insects once per week. He can't get enough of insects!

I was just looking at Jack's Insects.

How do you like it?

Hi Tracey:

I've let him start reading chapters as I'm not often available to help him. I try to read chapters here and there, but they're rather long. While they hold his interest, and though it's got lots of fun information and dialog between Jack and Maggie, his sister, or between those two and an insect, I can't sit that long. I only started reading it *to* him because the font is really small and I didn't want him to tire his eyes out. He LOVES it. He excitedly told me today that his next chapter has to do with spiders. Ooooh!
