I am being induced tomorrow morning. I would be grateful for your prayers.
I will be 6 days overdue. The practice I go to has several doctors and three midwives. I was supposed to see a midwife today, but they had me see a doctor as the midwife was running behind with another patient. During the exam, the doctor could not tell if baby was still in vertex position (he had flipped into position very late in the pregnancy). She went and got a scanner and determined that yes, he was in position, but he was rather high up. However, she made me nervous with the things she wasn't saying.. I have only seen this doctor once before, so I don't know her style. She decided that I should be induced tomorrow. The midwife who delivered our daughter (nearly 5 years ago) will be there tomorrow, so I feel better about that. I try to avoid interventions in delivery, but echoing a sentiment that I recently read in another thread, at this point I feel so fortunate just to have another baby, regardless of how the baby arrives.
I don't post replies often, but please know that 4real intentions are often on my heart and in my daily prayers and at Holy Mass as well as Adoration.

Update:
I ended up being induced on Thursday afternoon. After a 7 hour labor, Baby Xavier Benedict arrived at 9:13 pm.
7lbs 1 oz
20 inches
He seemed to do well the first day, but it was determined that he had a tight frenulum (tongue-tied). He would feed well for one feeding, then refuse the next feeding. We did not sleep at all his first night home (sorry I was too exhausted to go online to update). He ended up being readmitted for dehydration yesterday. After receiving i.v. hydration overnight, he was able to nurse successfully. His frenulum was treated today. We arrived home this evening and he is doing very well.
There is so much baby joy in our home - his siblings are over the moon! 
I will update my blog with pictures after I get some rest. 
I am so very thankful for all of your prayers!

I updated my original post late last night but did not remember that I needed to also post again separately for the post time to update. 
Nursing, catching up on the gazillion google reader posts and hopefully updating the blog soon. Baby Xavey will likely have a new name at yesterthoughts.. just to confuse everyone  . Not really, I use pseudonyms for my Sweet Treasures on my little blog (that is often neglected). No excuses.. something fun to post about now.

congrats! I love the name! my little girl was born with a short frenulum- (toungue tied) and although I noticed it at delivery, they wanted a "wait and see" apporach. it took two weeks and almost 2 lb lost and we got it clipped. it was so traumatic. I am so glad and relieved for you that it was caught early.
