Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I see it recommended for middle school in MODG. We aren't enrolled in MODG but I do consult her book when making my choices. Can anyone tell me anything about this program? Thanks!

Martha

I haven't used it yet but have the first book. (I have used Minimus which is a similar style.) It is an immersion-style program. The idea is that a student will intuit the grammar, vocab and syntax--just like they learned their mother tongue.

The stories, all in latin, follow a roman family. There are vocabulary lists to help you translate and grammar notes and exercises every lesson.
There are also background pages, in english, on roman customs, etc.

I think if you know some latin this would be fine to use. If you are new to it, then you might want to have something else on hand to supplement or refer to.

This is what my daughter's Latin group/teacher used, I think.

AngieMc - isn't that what they were using?
