Margaret Mary, rather, Greta - was born to us at 3:25 am Sunday Feb. 1st. She was 8 pounds 2 oz and 21 inches long. Labor was only 2 hours - I woke up at 1:30 am and she was born on the livingroom floor, into my hands at 3:25 am. I always dreamed of a short labor - but now that I've had one I'd say that a 4 hour labor is about perfect - 2 hours is INTENSE! We are both doing wonderfully, nursing, rocking, sleeping and singing. Our amazing family is tending to all of our needs! Also, one of my dearest friends had her baby boy just 8 hours before I did! And my next door neighbor had her little boy about 12 hours earlier!
Thanks for all of your prayers - we are very blessed to serve such a loving and generous God.

congrats!!! LOVE the name!! my sister just had her 2nd baby last week- unplanned unassisted homebirth (2 hour labor)- after her first baby was born after 36 hours labor IN the hospital!!!
