Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dinner tonight is still up in the air , well I know we'll eat, I'm just not sure what.

It will proabaly be chicken tacos with all the fixings, refried beans, and maybe some rice.

I am wondering if we could have an update on how the meal went? Especially if it's a new one? I am not good at quoting, or cutting and pasting, but that is my big thing with these threads: How WAS it?!?!?

It's ballet day so we're home around 6. I'll probably do a chili-mac or just rice and Korean food. We'll see.

The best thing about this thread is that it reminds me each morning to defrost meat when I need to. I HAVE to think about dinner.

My dh comes home for lunch, too, so we often have a real meal then, and since we are currently almost free of leftovers, I will cook twice today

Lentil soup for lunch and tuna melts and some leftover potato soup for dinner (I have to wait until dh comes home from our co-op pick-up this evening to make the tuna ). Otherwise, I probably prefer all the protein from tuna at lunch!

Scrambled eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. I will make a salad and also serve apple sauce. The girls just love"yellow eggs".

No clue!

We have a basketball game in Baton Rouge tonight.
It's the post-game meal that counts.

We are having red beans and rice, corn bread and salad. A real "southern" meal. (well I am southern)

Shrimp Scampi on angelhair, sour dough bread for mopping and jalapeno poppers for appetizers in the cockpit before hand - our Friday get the weekend started tradition appetizers, drinks, and conch blowing at sunset. Now that season is upon us we'll be able to hear the live music across the water too. Tonight a guy named Barefoot Wade is playing.

We like to have homemade pizza on Friday, but since cooking is about the last thing I feel like doing, we are having cheese tombstone pizzas tonight. Plus we have soccer tonight (again...), so they will be fast.

Potato and leek soup with Chesapeake Bay scallop, flavored with tarragon and dill. I can't wait to eat it...it has been cooking for hours!

Bon appetit!
