My father had to have emergency surgery today for an infection in his eye. He has glaucoma and has had previous surgery to help keep the pressure in his eyes lower, but that leaves small openings that bacteria can enter. Unfortunately that happened and the doctor is not sure they will be able to save his eye. The vision in his other eye is not very good at all, so the loss of his "good" eye would leave him without any real vision. He's trying to sound upbeat, but I can hear the fear in his voice. I would so appreciate prayers that his eye will be healed and no further sight will be lost. Thank you so much!
