Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Tonight we will enjoy cracker chicken, salad and some green beans. If I really get my act together, maybe some artisian bread too.

We are having Chicken Barley Soup, so it can be cooking away while we're at soccer games this afternoon, and be hot and ready when we arrive home!

Some bread and butter or spicy saltine crackers on the side...

To celebrate the Chinese New Year we're going out tonight!    Eggdrop soup and crab rangoons are two musts for us and since it's the Year of the Ox maybe a beef based main dish of some sort. (that'll thrill my dh and dd )

Parmesan chicken fingers, baked sweet potato fries, and spinach salad. It's a karate night, so it's got to be something quick and easy!

Hm. Not sure. Possibly some fried chicken and gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and corn. Either that, or leftover chili (but it will likely be chili for lunch, and chicken for dinner).

Rosemary Chicken, butternut squash mashed potatoes and rolls.

I would love the recipe for lentil burgers and third the call for baked sweet potato fries!

Great minds think alike!

I'm making fried rice but ordering in appetizers. The kids are FINALLY finishing the dragon that we started 3 years ago so they can do a dragon dance.

Maybe we could pick up some Pho? I thought that had ox in it...

Well, we had Subway for lunch so my kitchen is actually clean enough on a Monday to make a nice supper.

We're having smothered chicken (garlic-smothered) with brown rice, steamed broccoli and homemade WW bread. Maybe some oranges for dessert..

JoAnna... I'll post the recipe in a few minutes for the chicken... it's wonderful!

We are having Shrimp & Penne Pasta (pioneer woman's recipe), salad and garlic bread. Well, unless I go into labor.

Mary Chris - I have been enjoying these meal ideas from other 4real families. Thank you!

Blessings,

Kristina, you sound just like me!

I think we will be having cabbage, ground beef, and fried potatoes.

DH works around the corner from Chinatown in DC. He had a rehearsal yesterday so he brought home Chinese last night. He wayyyyy over-ordered so we celebrated Chinese New Year with leftovers at lunch.

Tonight, we're having baked spaghetti, fresh bread, and a salad.
