Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I don't know what my dh does to his slippers, but they never last more than 6 mos I had the same pair of slippers for almost 4 years when they finally started to come apart last spring. I need to find something that is going to stand up to his level of wear and tear as the $15 Target ones aren't cutting it. He needs something that has a non slip sole, covers his foot all over like a shoe would and is warm. I am willing to pay more money if it means I don't have to buy them again for another year (or dare I dream 2?). Does such a slipper exist?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Beth

Try Land's End? They are probably pricier. My dh got a pair of sock slippers several Christmases ago and they are still holding up. They probably have the shoe kind too.

My dh wears size 15D, so we bought very expensive slippers from Quoddy Moccasins in Maine - but he loves them, and they will last for 10+ years. Most slippers only go up to size 13.
