Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well, we have a bunch of leftovers in our fridge so hopefully that will be dinner. I made my first batch of dough from Artisian Bread in Five Minutes a Day, so maybe some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup too. Unless, I come up with some cool menu for the return of Lost.

We go to the pizza place across the street from our house on Wed. nights. We have CCD, so this allows me to not have to plan and cook supper. They have Italian subs buy 2 get 1 free on Wed.

Well, last night is was pork ribs and homemade sauerkraut in the crock-pot with boiled potatoes and green beans...yum...

Tonight, it will probably be chocolate cake with pink frosting as we have a brand new 4 year old in the house!

Not quite sure what to serve as the entree...probably spaghetti, as that is one of her favorites.

Happy birthday to your little girl!

ETA: We're having meatballs with rice and glazed carrots for supper. It's a left over lunch today!

I am thinking breakfast for dinner tonight for the family and more soup for me. My husband makes the best biscuits!

Red beans and rice with fresh chicken sausage, corn bread casserole, and salad. My in-laws are coming in town and this is an all around kid and adult favorite, so it is a good plan.

Change of plans: I'm making the leftover hamburger meat into chili, and we're having biscuits and spinach alongside.

It is my oldest son's 16th birthday. He as requested Kraft Mac-n-Cheese with hot dogs in it and cornbread! And of course, carrot cake with cream cheese icing (he has had this every year on his birthday).

Well, DH is working the graveyard icky shift tonight, so he will likely be asleep when the girls need to eat dinner (he'll eat LATE, before he heads off to work). So the girls will be eating spaghetti with leftover sauce, and DH will get the leftovers from last night (NUMMY pork roast with mushroom gravy, potatoes with horseradish--good for adults, not so good for finicky dc, buttered green peas).

This will clear out the fridge a bit more (had loads of sauce left from spaghetti the other night, and the dc are almost always game for that, lol). That means, something fresh tomorrow. The big question is, what?

LOL

Rachel

We're having pork roast with onions and mushrooms and Rachel's recipe for mashed potatoes. I also made a broccoli salad otherwise the broccoli would get funky on me...

Charlotte, It is broccoli (raw, chopped) crumbled bacon, raisens, and red onions, (you can add chopped nuts, sunflower seeds, etc...) with a dressing made from mayo, vinegar, and sugar.

Probably our own weird combo of pasta, crumbled bacon, black beans, corn, salt/pepper and salsa for those that want it. Sounds weird but it's easy and we love it. Plus the cupboard is pretty bare so we actually have those things! If we don't shop tonight, I may have to make it again tomorrow.

I so don't feeling like cooking so I just mixed up a can of diced tomatoes and tomato paste, added a little italian seasoning and put it on some chicken breasts (still frozen) and stuck them in the oven. I'll add some mozzerella when the chicken is done. I might make green beans or I might do a salad. We have some lettuce that we need to use. My dh won't be home until late we are eating early and I'll make him a plate and save it for him.
This is nice seeing what everyone else is having.
