Life is just so difficult sometimes. I wish I could talk about the crosses we are going through right now, but I need prayers for me to persevere and fight the good fight and for the gift of understanding for our children. I need the strength that your prayers can give me. I hope I can sleep tonight. I'll be clinging to my Brown Scapular and St. benedict medal again tonight and praying for all your intentions.
I really didn't want to post this. I have held off for a while, but I know you all are such prayer warriors.

Update Jan. 24th
Thank you so much for your prayers. This is a spiritual battle which I'm sure a lot of you have faced with your children while trying to keep the safe from the pressures of this world.
Wednesday is going to be a difficult day. Please pray for charity, patience and perseverance.

Tuesday night, Jan 27th
I have to speak to someone about a very difficult issue tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. It's not something my husband and I believe in, or feel is right and I'm afraid I'm going to make things worse by letting my feelings get to me. I pray that the Holy Spirit and St. Joseph will intercede for me and I don't have to deal with it yet until I can speak to my priest about it a little more.
I'll be up again tonight. I don't sleep much anymore thinking about what to say or what I could do differently. I'll keep your intentions in my prayers. You are all very dear to my heart. Thank you so much.

Update- Thursday night
Thank you so much for your prayers. Things are not going as well as I would hope. I'm a little worried. All we can do right now is to keep praying. God is in control.

I am praying you through this, Ruth!
In reflecting on some of these moments in life with a friend of mine, I was relaying that during the darkest moment of my life I never saw God clearer. Praying that it may be so for you and that you will feel His merciful and loving Presence near you and supporting you.
I will be praying that you are gifted with a supernatural strength and perseverance for this time.
