Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I found a microfleece blanket on sale at Walmart last week. $3.00 for a yard and a half-a lot better than the 12.00 a yard it usually costs at Joann Fabrics.

I thought I would share what I did with this one blanket.

I need to check out other stores for more of these "fabric finds."

I use flat sheets from Walmart all the time. You can buy a queen size flat for $3, they have lots of colors, ad it is a decent fabric. I have lined curtains, table cloths and skirts. It is also a decent fabric for kid clothes.

Wow. That is inspiring. I buy sheets at goodwill for my daughter to back quilts with....much cheaper than Joanns and much less aggravating than her stealing my good sheets.
