In case you missed seeing this elsewhere as I did, look at this sweet Little Flowers doll from Ecce Homo Press. You can buy either the 18" doll with outfit or the outfit alone.

Oh Victoria -- I wished I'd seen these sooner -- this is a great alternative to AG and a great price also! EcceHomoe has some craft books (including a knitting one I wrote ) that you could add to make clothes for the dolls!

Wow, I love this--and if your daughter already has an 18 inch doll, you can buy the adorable Little Flowers uniform separately!
Thanks for posting this, Victoria.

Mary, I had my eye on that knitting book!! It looks wonderful.
Alice, I ordered the uniform separately. I'll let you know after Christmas how it goes over.
Blessed Advent!

Has anyone ordered these? Are they the same kind of doll as AG or Beautiful Girlhood? I'm looking at one or two for Maggie's 6th bday and I need to decide in the next day or so. I'd sure like to buy from a Catholic company.

Oh, Mary, sorry, we didn't order the doll. Only the Little Flowers outfit. The outfit is every bit as cute as we hoped.
And we DID order your knitting book too. It gets a way, big thumbs up. I already have a friend begging to borrow it...
Hope everything worked out for Maggie's birthday.

Thanks so much for the information! I ordered the Little Flowers outfit for Sarah. She asked for the new American Girl Jess doll (who's homeschooled)for her birthday in April. I ordered it, along with this outfit for her! I think she'll be surprised when she opens it!
