Anyone know if lower back pain is part of giving up caffeinated beverages?

I went cold turkey and stopped drinking soda and coffee.
The headache is something I can deal with, but the lower back pain is quite bothersome.

Should I increase water? I read somewhere add salt to my water.   

Any suggestions to help get me over this hump?

I would definately increase the water.. it'll help with giving up the caffiene

but I dont' know anything about lower back pain being related..

could it be your kidneys? that's the only thing that comes to mind with lower back pain.

And more water may help that too.

when I start getting kidney stones.. I find it's because I haven't been out in the sun enough to get sufficient vit. D.. I take a supplement and things start to ease up almost right away.

When I gave up morning coffee I found myself so very very tired.    It took me almost a month to get over it. I constantly needed a nap in the early am or just after lunch. I don't know about lower back pain related to your lack of caffine however it never hurts to drink extra water.
