Please pray for a dear, dear friend of mine who is having surgery, a hysterectomy, tomorrow morning at 9am (EST). Please pray for her doctors, for her recovery, and for her peace. She has eight children and is very sad to see this chapter of her life come to a close.

1/12- Please offer more prayers for my friend! She just called to say that she is heading back to the hospital with a fever of 103.5. Her dh is gone tonight (a firefighter) and her dad, who is taking care of her eight children, isn't feeling well. She has a friend who is able to get her to the hospital, thank God. Her oldest three are teenage girls, who should be able to help their grandfather handle the little ones, but the girls do go to school. I am an hour away.

Please pray that it is nothing serious and that they can get her healthy and back home to her family quickly. Please pray for the rest of the family as well.

I just spoke with a mutual friend who told me that our friend has been bleeding more than expected. They are telling her she needs a blood transfusion and she is worried about doing it, although she has agreed to it. Please continue your prayers!

I just hung up with her. She got a room at 3:30 am this morning. In 15 minutes she'll be getting a CT scan to see if she has an infection. It will take 72 hours for the blood work to come back and she thinks she'll probably be there the whole time. After a rough night she's had antibiotics and pain meds so she's feeling much better now.

My friend has an infection in her abdomen the size of a grapefruit. She is on IV antibiotics which they hope will take care of it. Fortunately, she has a good friend who is able to stay with her at the hospital so her husband can be home with the children.

Please continue to pray for them all. Her youngest is just 14 months or so and I am sure he is missing his mommy!
