Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I would love to know what you consider the cheapest and best telephone plan - we just use Verizon for our phone and internet - and it is not cheap but has been easier. We do not want to give up our land line - because we just use prepaid cellphones - we are not big cell phone users. I am trying to find a way to cut back on some of our utility bills. (Can you tell I have been reading America's Cheapest Family

We have the basic phone line because we use our cell phones for everything. I wouldn't have the land line except we have an alarm system that's wired in to the phone. We don't need a lot of minutes because most of our calls are mobile to mobile and not charged against our minutes.

Right now, we have no home phone, but I used to have a family day care and I was required to have one - so I got the cheapest plan they had with no long distance on it, limited number of outgoing calls each month, etc. - in addition to having the cell phone for all long distance. I got onto a really really good cell phone deal where I have no roaming, so many minutes I've never gone over (except the 3 weeks I had to be in a different state from my son and we sort of went overboard talking for 2-4 hours every day)....
