He is waiting for a call back from his doctor. If he doesn't hear soon he's going to the ER again. He is concerned about possible symptoms of a kidney infection or other kidney problem (the mass he has that was inconclusively needle-biopsied, and could still contain cancer but either way doesn't really belong there, is near the kidney.)
For anyone who remembers my Friday request for baby, we went to urgent care on Saturday since the pediatrician's office didn't pick up when I called, doctor found no reason to believe it's the serious thing it could have been.
I feel really whiny right now and I need to stop (I'm talking about real life, not prayer request) but I was already thinking baby's current sleep schedule is a nightmare. She's been going to sleep "for the night" (the long blocks rather than little naps) at like 5:30 a.m., this morning it was after 7!! We have quite limited success at keeping her awake off her natural schedule so she will fall asleep earlier at night. It could be worse since my husband works at home but obviously it is interfering with things. If he has to stay in the hospital, which hopefully he won't, it would interfere a lot more.

Thanks all. He's home after about 7 hours there. It wasn't clear what was wrong (we wonder if the nausea might actually have been caused by whatever has been making our 4yo throw up this evening) but the risk that there is a serious infection or that one might develop is enough that they gave him an antibiotic prescription.
My poor husband has been through so much this year!
