Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone bought this
DD and I are interested in making our own salves and tinctures and thought this may be a good start. The cost is quite high though. Does anyone think it is good value and recommend it?

Yes, we have it and I love it!!!!! My girls keep a small jar in their purses. Thay all have very sensitive skin and use it a lot. It is very expensive, though.

I bought it two years ago and we very much enjoyed it and learned a lot. I make a variation of their salve to keep on hand all the time.

That looks great Marilyn!

You know you really ought to post these things sooner, before Christmas & bday lists are made

I think for our Jan. annual re-do the budget day, I'm going to add room for this somewhere?!!!!

Marilyn, did you end up trying this kit? I'm very interested as well.

Finally got the kit and we have made everything in it. We love it. The salve is really great. I have been drinking the nettle infusions. Our tincture is not yet ready. I am in the midst of writing up our herbal study plans - the kids are loving it - and I am getting ready to order more stuff form Mountain Rose Herbs. The kit comes with some much good information and the learning herbs website is a goldmine. My kids have done a lot of the plans for the unit study - what they want to grow, visit to a herb farm, making rootbear, marshmallows, cosmetics etc

Wow!!! --- I wish I had been able to get everything that now comes with it. I didn't get the Herbal Wisdom or interviews with it, and I think I may have actually paid more. I think this is a great deal, and it was so much fun to make! I just wish I could find a place in Canada that sells tins and whatnot....
