One of my husband's co-workers recently told him that he read the New Testament, then decided that he should read the whole thing, so he started with Genesis and read through to Revelation. I think that part of what inspired him to do this was the loss of his mother last summer and his father this fall. At any rate, he sent us a Christmas card that thanked Adam for his example and wanted him to know that this will be the first Christmas that he remembers that he will be celebrating it as it should be.
He is searching for truth and Adam thinks a book that will lead him to the fullness of truth in the Catholic Church would make a good Christmas present. (Note: His wife is Berean.) Not necessarily a "conversion" book, but a "searching for truth" book...something by Peter Kreeft? C.S. Lewis? Suggestions?

Wonderful! Thank you for sharing this news.
Stephanie, you might also want to post your request for information over at Life in the Domestic Church.
How about Fundamentals of Faith by Peter Kreeft?
Love,

Many prayers of thanksgiving both for this man's journey and that your husband can be such a beacon of Christ's light! What an awesome gift for the Christ Child.
I'm a big fan of Peter Kreeft myself!

Praying for him as he embarks on his spiritual journey. I love Scott Hahn's books, and he does such a nice job of explaining his own conversion and how he was "surprised by truth." If you aren't wanting a conversion book, they might be a bit much, but maybe down the road...

Peter Kreeft is wonderful - several of his audios are available on mp3 for free on his website. I'm also a huge fan of Scott Hahn's conversion/truth discovery.
Scott and Peter both have several YouTube videos that can be viewed for free. Just type their names in the search box.
I also personally adore Father Michael Himes, and Archbishop Fulton Sheen. Father Himes is on Food4Thought TV, which you can find online. Archbishop Sheen is available I think through Ignatius, and many of his videos are also available on YouTube.
Great stuff.
If you are after books, I recommend any of either Peter or Scott's works. Scott Hahn writes very digestible books. We had the pleasure to meet Scott Hahn this summer and picked up several of his titles, including the Didache book he authored.
HTH!
Blessings,

Actually, my husband is leaning towards "Life of Christ" by Sheen. He loves him! Besides, his co-workers are all older and know him from the TV program...so he would be a "familiar" author.
Thanks for all your prayers and suggestions!
