I feel so silly asking you to pray for this request.
We are so close to Jim returning home! If you could pray that no unexpected issues arise that prevent them from coming home at their scheduled time...which as of today, I still don't know. Also if you could pray for our reunion as a family. We can't wait to see him, but ten months is a long time. We have all changed a lot during that time. (though I'm not any thinner!) And that I can keep my eye on the big picture, that Jim is just happy to be coming home. He is not expecting a freshly painted and newly redecorated home that sparkles. That I can be a nice mom while I clean the house and finish the projects I started.
Thank you for being such good friends while he has been away. Your prayers and friendship have been so appreciated.

You are in my prayers, Mary Chris. Pick up everything off the floor, clean the bathrooms, bake something that smells nice, and put fresh sheets on the bed. Gussy yourself up and smile a lot...Jim will be thrilled. Let the rest go.

This is so exciting... I think I would feel like a teenager having been separated from my dh for so long!
He will be so happy to see you and the family.. you are right to keep your eye on the big picture. Sending prayers for your joyfilled reunion.
Oh and thanks to you and all the military wives who sacrifice so much for the rest of us. My family always includes the family of our military in prayer because of the hardships you endure when spouses are deployed faraway.

Heartfelt prayers, MC, especially for no changes in Jim's return date.
Give yourselves lots of time to resynchronize. He's missed a lot (and so have you), but you'll catch up in time. Just remember to say out loud that you know there's lots of catching up to do...
...I keep our weekly schedule on the calendar so my husband can see it as he dashes in and out...
...and I am so thankful your Jim is coming home safe and sound!!!!
