If I could please ask for prayers for a dear friend of our family. Elizabeth is the daughter of my parents' best friends (whom they have known for over 35 years). Elizabeth just found many nodules in both her breasts (one the size of a golf ball), and is going in today for a double mastectomy. The doctors don't know if the cancer has metastasized or not. Elizabeth is the mom of 2 children and is a relatively recent convert to the Catholic faith. Her faith is strong and she is relying on God's grace to get her and her family through this time. I know she would appreciate any prayers you could offer up for her at this time.

Praying for Elizabeth, for success of the surgery, that the cancer will not have spread, and that her recovery will go well. Also praying for her family through this scary time.

I don't have any news as of yet. My dad spoke with Elizabeth's dad around 7 tonight and she was still in surgery. They think the lymph nodes might be involved. Thank you for the continued prayers.
